She did get a proper pair of mittens. Two in fact. (Two pairs, not just two mittens.) And a scarf.

Words cannot express how much joy even the idea of a baby scarf brings me. And in real life, on a real life baby, it about makes my head explode. Look at that thing?!?! The poof. The totally adorable and completely superfluos felt charm things. I can’t take it.

She apparently can’t take it either. I put all of her winter accessories on just for this picture. At first she refused to stand. Man, but when she hid, that hat over the eyes bit. Classic.
