So, the Grandparents graciously watched all the kids one nite and allowed the four of us to head out to a fancy-food dinner. We got super lucky to score last minute reservations at Husk. The place should just be called YES!!


Southern Food re-imagined. Or re-envisioned. Or re-something. But definitely re-diculously delicious.


A sampling of the South’s finest hams? YES!! Punch drinks with recipes borrowed from the Charleston Historical Preservation Society? YES!! Cornbread, grits, oysters, whiskey? YES!!


The guys both had some smoked pork deal that was shredded then pressed back together, then seared/cooked like a pulled pork meatloaf. What? YES!!


Should you find yourself in Charleston. Get a reservation. And get stuffed. 


My parents will babysit.
