Life lately according to Instagram. I’m not certain why they say you can never go home again because we totally have. Maybe Indiana doesn’t count. Things are just so much easier here than in the city.

I went downtown on a Friday nite. I found parking in a pretty happening area within a block of my destination. When I approached the meter for the spot it read “No payment required. Free parking time.” Or something to that effect. I gazed upon it for a moment. Free parking. And you won’t even try to take my money. What the what? In Philly the PPA would have already ticketed me for staring at the meter too long.

Things are starting to come together. We’ve found a home we are very much interested in. And the neighborhood is great. Turns out what I really desire is a neighborhood that was like super nice in the 60’s and has retained it’s property values ever since. None of this newfangled newness for our little posse.

I went to Target twice this weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday. Because here you can run errands without feeling like you’ve just completed basic training.

Now, I just need to re-learn how to actually stop at stop signs.
