One of the many perks of packing. Someone puts your chair on top of the couch.

Other perks include boxes(!), an almost 100% reduction in baby gates by the move’s end, and baby toys / seats you haven’t seen for months.

She’d alternately insist on sitting in her baby papasan and her baby bath seat. If you packed one or the other, she unpacked it. Or got in the box with it.

She was a real trooper throughout the move. Everyone involved was. Huge shouts out to all the parental units who served time in Philly over the last month allowing us to pack and save our daycare dollars.

Family is totally underrated. And parents / grandparents are the cornerstones of making our lives work in any manageable or successful way. We don’t need a village. We’ve got parents who might as well be giants for the BIG impact they have on our little lives.

Tight neck hugs and tiny, open-mouthed baby kisses to all of you.
