Were you aware there is a full-size ferris wheel inside the TImes Square Toys R Us? Also, interestingly enough, the hottest place on the face of the earth.

We hit the big apple for a girls weekend to close out February. It’s not quite the same with kids. The list of things to do changes. Like, for instance, Toys R Us Times Square ferris wheel. But it was great in new ways.

Rachel took in her first Broadway show. Annie was a perfect pick. (Way better then Newsies. Right Amanda?) Rachel was rapt with attention. She loved the whole thing.

So did I. I foolishly mentioned to Amanda how they had departed from the movie. She kindly reminded me the show originated as a musical long before the movie. Uh, I’m not totally ruined by popular modern culture. Just mostly.
