This is the first real interest she’s shown in a baby doll. Though she’s also interested in plastic bags, clothespins and the dishwasher. Really, on a scale, the baby doll would likely come last. (Dishwasher first.)

All the same. She likes this one. And since she only has two toys that also qualify as dolls, that’s gotta weight the ranking.

I have named the doll Janet. To call the doll Janet makes me giggle for no specific reason. And it’s definitely why Maxine prefers Janet to the other nameless doll.
