A week in Charleston, SC with my folks, my sister and brother-in-law, and my niece and nephew. We rented a big house near the ocean. Good times were had by all.

We ate. We drank. We beached. We played Taboo.

Turns out my sister and I are pretty awesome. (Really, at all of the above but most specifically Taboo.) My mom brings the crazy with clues only my sister and I can follow (President + Jelly Beans and the answer is not Reagan). Which really only serves to increase our awesomeness.

Then there’s the men. My bro-in-law came in somewhere in the middle. My Dad - though an exceptionally intelligent dude - could not not use the “taboo” words as clues. And Job’s inaugural clue was “Ok, Herbie Hancock’s first major studio album”. Uhhh….Shrunken Head was where we was eventually going.

Vacations are a long time coming and a short time going.

Charleston is lovely. Family time is lovelier.
