Some more, more pics from our recent trip to NYC. I know, it was just a day trip. A half-day trip really and yet, so fruitful.

New York is magic.

It really was an awesome day. An awesome day that was Job birthday adjacent so we did awesome Job things. Including a stop at a Japanese market that he’s wanted to go to “for like 10 years”.

That’s a long time to build expectations for a grocery store. The place held up.

Maxine got some pretty sleek eating implements. She seems to like them. I find their aesthetic pleasing. And I’m pretty sure using them make her better at science and math.

As sometimes happens when you follow the wayward path that is Job, you stumble across some pretty awesome shit. Like this view of the city from NJ. It’s interesting to me that you’re really just looking at a city. Building, concrete, more buildings. But it’s seriously pretty. Pull over to the side of the road, take some photos and wonder aloud how have I never seen this before pretty.

Having a family is good stuff. Having my family is totally worth the 34-year wait.
