Wait. Do blogs have mission statements? Isn’t that counter blog?
Wait, wait, wait. Do I have mission statements? I reject all things goal setting and the like. I refuse to live by a budget.
I’m lazy fair. (I know. That was intentional.)
Here’s the skinny though. I do very much enjoy writing. I also very much enjoy my wayward, meandering life. But what I enjoy most is Maxine.
We struggle with the idea of keeping her off the internet. That’s not correct. We wholeheartedly decided to keep her off the internet. But, really, that’s just Facebook. I think our (my) true intent was to not put her on blast whilst she (I) was still covered in amniotic fluid.
She’s older. Well, seven months, but, by all measures older than birth. And we’re (I’m) less neurotic about all things her.
So, my blog mission statement: Write a blog about my (our) daily life.
Un-glamorous, un-budgeted and super, super awesome.
